Rest in Peace Khatera

The Enabled Children family is in mourning. We are extremely sad to share the tragic news that after successfully recovering from a lifesaving kidney transplant in India, Khatera suffered a heart attack the last week of December and passed away. We are absolutely devastated by her sudden loss. Thank you to the Global Gift Foundation, our Advisory council member Ilaha Eli Omar, and Charges D’Affaires at the Afghan Embassy in India, and Tahir Qadiry, for helping to give her a fighting chance at life.
