Dear ECI Supporters and Friends,
The unexpected events in Afghanistan in August led the entire Afghan nation and people, and those working alongside them, into crisis mode over the past few months, including all of us at Enabled Children Initiative. But we knew from the very beginning of this difficult time that we would work as hard as we could to keep ECI’s programs running and continue to serve those families and children we work for. This drive and determination came particularly strong from our amazing Afghan programs teams working in Afghanistan—they were determined to keep the work going, and the ECI board members and admin team have been fully focused on supporting them to do so.
